About the role The Demo Engineer will build and maintain technical demo environments that showcase Cresta’s AI platform capabilities, including virtual agents and real-time coaching. This role bridges product, engineering, and go-to-market teams to deliver compelling, technically sound demonstrations tailored to different industries and buyers. Responsibilities - Build pilots, proof-of-concepts, and demo environments with workflows, seed data, and features - Expand standardized demo environments with new scenarios, industries, and personas - Ensure reliability and performance of demo systems and resolve technical issues - Develop integrations, automations, and tools such as CRM/CCaaS connectors and custom apps - Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Enablement to support presales and feedback loops Requirements - 3–5+ years in demo engineering, solutions architecture, or similar technical roles - Strong understanding of REST APIs, authentication, Git, relational data, and scripting (Python, JavaScript, Bash) - High ownership mindset with problem-solving ability using tools and data - Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences Nice to have - Experience with CCaaS platforms (Twilio, Amazon Connect, Five9) and CRM systems (SFDC) - Experience with AI-native workflows (Claude/Cursor, agents, MCP connectors) - Background in high-growth SaaS or enterprise AI environments Benefits & perks - Comprehensive benefits package for employees and families - Competitive, location-based compensation Compensation Base salary ranges from $135K to $160K, with on-target earnings between $169K and $200K including variable compensation, plus equity.
